Worship in the Circle at Newport Minster

Sundays ongoing

We’re so excited to gather again for our Worship & Prayer Night in the Circle. We love opening the doors to the island, so come and join us as we gather to worship Jesus together.

Doors open: 6:00pm
Start: 6:30pm
Finish: 7:30pm

There’ll be:
Creative art spaces
Quiet areas to sit and read the Bible
A free, open space to gather in worship and prayer

Everyone is welcome. Come as you are.

Prison Prayer Meeting

It is planned to hold a prayer meeting for the prison monthly on the third Friday of the month.

We will meet in the café at Carisbrooke Priory from 10am with the prayer meeting proper starting at 10.30am for an hour. An upstairs room is booked for more privacy if needed but last time we stayed in the café and prayed there.

Taste of Taizé

You are welcome from 5pm for a shared meal and/or for the Taizé service from 6pm to 6:45pm; a gentle contemplative service of prayer, Taizé song and silence. In the Winter months the shared meal is homemade soup and bread (gluten free and vegetarian option available). In the Summer months the shared meal is Ploughman’s or Quiche with salad and bread (gluten free and vegetarian option available). The meal is free of charge though you are welcome to give a donation if you would like to.

Please come along to pray for the Prisons on the island

on the third Friday of each month at Carisbrooke Priory.

Dates: 18th September,16th October and 20th November. We will meet in the cafe at the priory from 10am and the prayer meeting proper will be from 10.30am for an hour. So far we have stayed in the café to pray but may well be in the chapel instead.
